Bereavement Services

The caring and support of Lakeland continue after the death of your loved one. The bereavement program provides support, guidance, and education through a variety of programs. The families and loved ones of Hospice patients are eligible to receive services throughout the first 13 months of bereavement. Our bereavement coordinator is available to meet with you at any time to offer support and encouragement as you navigate your grief journey. We want all of our families to know that you do not walk this road alone and that we are with you every step of the way.

Each meeting will last approximately an hour, and attendance is at your convenience. All persons are welcome! Our goal is to open ourselves to more ways to HOPE. Hope is dealing with our expectations, our experiences, and our choices. We will add a dose of reality and optimism to round things out!

Time of Remember Service

Our Memorial services are held in September every year. It is a celebration of life for each patient we have had the privilege to care for and has passed away within the year. This service is musical and uplifting. To some of our families, this service acts as closure in lieu of funeral service they may have been unable to plan.ž
