We are always in need of additional volunteers. In our fast-paced society, we realize the value of everyone's time. We offer volunteer opportunities in both clinical (working directly with patients and families) and non-clinical (office and special event support “behind the scenes”) roles.

 

Direct Care volunteers- who work with our patients and families. These volunteers receive training to enable them to provide respite (rest) for caregivers, visit with patients and families, personal care for patients, run errands, write letters, facilitate children's bereavement groups, and provide support to the grieving.

 

Administrative Service volunteers- These volunteers receive an orientation to answer phones, assemble information packets, file for clinical teams, garden, greet family members, guests, and visitors, prepare mailings, write acknowledgments, and assist in other office needs.
